Torque Gauge

A dial torque gauge used with torque clamps to apply and measure torque on toy components, checking that knobs, wheels and other parts cannot be twisted off.

Technical details

To check if parts of toys can be removed by a specific torque force, torque gauges are utilized. The applied force is recorded using a torque clamp in conjunction with torque measuring equipment. Any toy component that a child can grab with at least their thumb and fingers or their teeth must pass the torque test.
