SDC Enterprises profiles Ramp Impex as its distributor for India

SDC Enterprises (SDCE), the UK manufacturer of colour fastness testing consumables, has profiled Ramp Impex in its “Meet the distributor” series.
The relationship began in 2001, when Ramp Impex founder Puneet Rawal — then supplying scientific instruments to the textile sector — visited SDCE at its former Bradford headquarters to source testing consumables for a client. Within an hour of meeting managing director Mark Yare, both sides saw the potential for a partnership, and Ramp Impex was formally appointed SDCE’s distributor for India in 2002.
Since then the partnership has opened more than 650 accounts across India, including testing laboratories, apparel houses, brands and processing mills. Ramp Impex has grown from a one-person operation to a team of 36, with its head office in New Delhi and branches in western and southern India, and has expanded into Bangladesh and new customer verticals.
