The Opti-Spray Rating Tester determines the water repellence of a textile fabric: a predetermined quantity of water is sprayed from an aluminium nozzle onto a specimen mounted at 45 degrees, 150mm from the nozzle centre, in accordance with ISO 4920, AATCC 22 and equivalent standards.
