Processing methods are the basis for providing maximum consistency of SDC standard reference detergents. Mixing in solution followed by spray drying gives, we believe, superior results to the dry mixing of powders, with the additional benefit of producing a fine power that is easier for the user to dissolve.
The homogeneous mix produced by spray drying is maintained throughout the detergent’s use. Dry mix detergents of varying particle size may not give the correct formulation when small quantities are weighed. They may also partially separate when subjected to vibration in dispensing hoppers on washing equipment.
Each SDC detergent undergoes rigorous testing using independent laboratories. Both the chemical composition and performance is assessed

A) Assessed versus internal master batch for     chemical composition and in performance tests.

B) Colour coded packaging to aid correct      identification.

Standard Reference Detergents & Auxiliaries
ECE NON Phosphate Detergent A

Manufactured for use in ISO 6330 and in the ISO 105 C series of clour fastness tests. The powder is free from fluorescent brightening agent.

IEC NON Phosphate Detergent A

Produced for use in the ISO 6330 colour fastness tests. This powder contains fluorescent brightening agent.

IEC Phosphate Reference Detergent B

Manufactured for use in the IEC 456:1994 for the performance evaluation of washing machines . It also specified in the ISO 10528:1994 test method . It contains fluorescent brightening agent.

  
 
 


Soap Powder

Manufactured for use in the ISO 105 C series of colour fastness tests. This powder is free from fluorescent brightening agent.


Taed Powder

This reagent is used in the international standards ISO 105 C08 and C09 and also the latest version of ISO 6330:2000.

The TAED acts as a bleach activator in combination with the Sodium Perborate and is incorporated into the latest standards to replicate modern commercial laundry products. Its purpose is to start the bleaching action earlier in the wash cycle and has a maximum efficiency at 500C to 600 C.

This is a; high quality grade powder of 92% activityu which is very stable in storage
